Trump and Putin love at first sight

Trump is unfortunately the leader of the Western World, he is also a likely candidate for the Darwin Awards and certainly is a most useful, useful idiot. Being he has a narscisic personality type, is a bully, misogynist and afraid of other's who are either more physically imposing than himself or who are powerful e.g. Jong-Un or Putin it was no wonder he kissed the arse of Putin and spoke to Putin in private. Only to then US politicians come out and say his actions were treasonous. After all, intimating your own intelligence services had it wrong and he'd rather believe an arch enemy than his own brothers adds to the pile of other ludicrous remarks the ginger bawl bag has made. No body in the right mind would make such a remark or inuendo. This man is undeniably the greatest laughingstock of legitimate leadership there has ever been. Or possibly it could be he was helped to the throne by his mate Putin and is in fact the illegitimate leader of the good old US of A. Which now stands for the United States Arsehole.

Like a child before they begin talking and the cameras are still rolling Trump comes out with the undeniable fact both superstates have enough nuclear weapons to destroy there world several times over. If there was ever a tell this was it. This was an indicator Trump was going and no doubt did try and talk about nuclear weapons. This man's notion of making a deal is firstly being in the most superior position that whoever he deals with needs him more than he needs them. A bit like the position the UK will be in when BREXIT takes place. Trump then runs the hardest Win - Lose deal he can as he knows he can walk away at any time and I have no doubt the UK will be used as an arse wet wipe when Trump gets his chance. Yet this is something he could never do with Putin, in fact any kind of discussion Putin would have with Trump would be to Putin's advantage. Although Putin is just as much a narcisist as Trump he has an even greater advantage he's intelligent by a mile. Trump is the kind of man who plays draughs while Putin would be playing three dimensional chess whilst conspiring to silently bring down any thorn in his side by Novochock nerve agent.

The meeting room was no doubt swept for bugs and whatever happened was highly confidential. For example the hidden sex tapes Putin has of Trump being serviced by willing Russian prostitutes. Putin would of reminded him they were safely locked in a Kremlin vault and not to worry. Melania likely already knows about them and it could be one of many reasons she never actually sleeps with her husband any more, having a particular preference for her latest personal trainer. Or rather the several personal trainers who are employed to aid her fitness regime. Lets just say there is a lot of up close and personal techniques being used.

Maybe this little hiccup will have Trump yet again lying about what happened and perhaps start to make some of his hard line supporters think well maybe this man shouldn't be president after all. We'll see, he'll cling to power no doubt.

Chope the misgenist dinosaur

Sir Christopher Chope is the latest nasty Tory MP to be put in the wringer. Quite rightly to, it was his shouting out of the word, "Objection" which led to the prevention of a private members bill against
upskirting. The only MP in the entire commons to object and prevent a very necessary piece of legislation. For no real reason than he wants to be known as the MP who has killed more private members bills than anyone else. He doesn't care what their content is, he doesn't care that some of those bills are actually very good pieces of legislation. It's thought when Chope shouted out his "objection" he didn't actually know what upskirting was and didn't know why he was objecting. This is probably a fact rather than a thought. He is after all an MP who is out of touch with reality and out of touch with his own constituents. Who are probably all wondering why this man is still their MP.

Chope is MP for Christchurch and has been since 1997. Further he is the typical far right back bench Tory MP, he's voted against same sex marriage five times, voted against employers of 250 or more from publishing the pay of women versus men, voted in favour of the bedroom tax and voted against assisted dying. From 11.09.17 to 03.10.17 Chope visited the petrol pumps 8 times and at each filling took £45 of petrol this is a total of £360 which he then claimed as expenses. His record of filibustering and blocking private members bills is so long as to be more the modus operandi of a career convict waiting for the next victim to come along so he can mug them. This man is a dinosaur, the British Museum have been called in twice to authenticate he is still alive and not actually a fossil. If you are a constituent of Christchurch how proud you must be to have him as your representative. Unless of course you happen to have shown your disgust by decorating Chope's office with the obligatory string of knickers, which no doubt he likely considered putting in his desk draw for later. When he's tucking into his cup of tea and packet of biscuits just thinking if only he were a higher order knight rather than a third class just about knighted knight. They type which has no honour and should not be in parliament in the first place.

The fire hose outside Chopes office is probably there for a reason, just in case his staff enter and feel the need to douse him in cold water. This individual should not be in office and to prove it he has been reprimanded by May. Further the government are going to publish the exact same private members bill word for word. Why is such a man still in office? He is a misogynist of the first order and someone who is not representative of the British voters.

Christchurch constituents, do us a favour and show this old fuddy duddy dinosaur the bottom of your boot.

Trump and the G7

Trump is in the news again for the way he acted at the G7 summit. Refusing to listen to reason the G7 might say but, when this large lump of ginger lard decides he is not going to do something he doesn't. Very much like a child Trump sat there with a non-conforming face and not-listening-to-you attitude. He arrives late to the summit, leaves early and immediately says "NO" to remove the tariffs which will be put onto metal imports into the USA. If any single one of the EU leaders had acted in the same way Trump acted at this world summit but towards Trump he'd have an apoplectic fit and throw his rattle out of the pram. His feelings would be so hurt he'd make it one of his life targets to get them back.

It's not possible to discuss deals or to discuss reason with Trump, as there is just a single thing he has in mind and it is the trade deficit America has with the rest of the world. However, the trade deficit has come about because big producers have tendered out their manufacturing processes in other countries rather than keep them internal. With sound financial reasoning, it's cheaper to make phones in China than it is in America, in fact it is cheaper to make most products abroad than in America. It's how big business makes profit, including the likes of Trump himself. Why does he have factories in South Korea? But again this is a question like his Tax statement he'll not answer.

It's said Trump is only doing what his voters want him to do. They see him standing up to Europe and they rally even more and become greater enthusiasts. Paradoxically, it is likely the small-time come mid market American business is more likely to be affected by trade tariffs than the biggest businesses. Further to this Trump's side stepping towards Putin and Jong Un shows someone who has sympathies for tyrants. His narcisic personality type shows he to acts very much like a tyrant and if he could would no doubt put to death those in his government who have acted to his disapproval. It can be seen by his willful neglect of the truth and seeker of self confirming information no matter where it came from or how dubious and fake it is. It's accepted Trump is possibly the highest fake news source other than Russia there has likely ever been. Trump is a democratic tyrant and given the chance would to ensure his family were in power ad infinitum. The question  is will get a second term?

Hopefully the answer is going to be no, but the issue comes down to ensuring there are good alternative choices. Not someone like Hillary Clinton who is tainted by a similarity to the rest of previous Democratic choices. Poor old Bernie Saunders might of been an option, but it would be remarkable if he or Hillary were going to run for office again given their ages. Mind it's remarkable to consider Trump might run for a second term in consideration of his age as well and preference to golf than to run a country. He cheats at golf by the way. Besides the manic Trump supporters who get entrenched in the position of support, it's likely those who swung to Trump's child like charisma will not be fooled by it a second time. Trump could not of won by the support of Repulicans alone, he had help from those voters who are unable to make up their mind, the swin voters and those easily influenced and hooked on the notion of a historic America being great again. However at such a time America was altogether more financially similar, as the years have progressed it has now become an extreme and uncaring society where nothing but money talks.

In a way the same is happening to Britian, as though we are on a run away train trundling down the tracks, as each year passes we take on the ideas of large corporations, such ideals which destroy societies. The working classes get hoodwinked into fake news and believe although they are working class they should vote Tory as they are brain washed by the media of an unequal biased national press. The rich and their institutions have now so influenced Britian and hold such powers they are telling us what to think and letting us be dumb idiots to their needs. Indoctrined to lead lives of servitude and thanks to them for what they say they have given us. Wake up, stop, look, learn and most importantly question and re-evaluate, don't go blindly into the night Britain.

Working Class and Tory

There is one political thing more than any other which gets my goat. Which makes me want to scream "are you crazy" it is when working class voters go out and select Tory candidates at elections. Be this local elections or government elections. When I hear of an individual doing this I get angry and want to call them a traitor. I know anger does no good and understanding is the better option. Through understanding it might be possible to discuss and sway opinion, but stifling the red mist can be a difficult thing to do. So a mist arose when a caller to the LBC radio station announced to Nigel Farage he was a Tory voter and he was only on an income of £8.50 per hour. Further he stated voting Tory was a result of him believing he was voting for the good of the country and voting on policy. Opinion may well be this man is misguided in his belief, for it is Tory governments which increase the national debt and increase poverty.

In 2001 national debt of GDP in the UK was at it's lowest at 30 per cent, this was during a Labour government when Tony Blair was prime minister. Now in 2018 as a proportion of GDP the national debt is approximately 85 per cent, and the debt outstanding is £1.6 trillion. Debt has never been as high as this under any Labour government, so to say it is good for the country and Tory policy done it, is completely wrong. Tory policy has done nothing but bring this country to its knees. Poverty in the UK is now affecting 3 million people, there is more child poverty than there has ever been. Lets not for get it was a Tory government which removed the Education Maintenance Allowance, monies which kids used to get so they could stay in education, pay for their books, and generally be able to sustain themselves without cadging pocket money from parents. Waiting times for NHS treatment have got longer and longer, the policing budget has reduced to such a low level it is common for there to be a stabbing or shooting on London streets every single day. In March 2018 there were 22 murders in London, this figure is noticeable because it is higher than New York. London had effectively become the murder capital of the world. So when a working class man says it is Tory policy which is good for the country this shows no more than just an individual who hasn't done his research, hasn't looked at the facts, or has been highly selective, which is pretty true of the Tories anyway.

Another option to consider is that these working class individuals believe by voting Tory it in some way makes them better than those who don't. Perhaps this is because they have fallen under the spell of the Tory propaganda machine. Actually believing what they are told, the likes of Guido Fawkes for instance or even Sky TV. It's like there is a simplicity of mind, they are taken in by arguments which don't stand up to reason because reason has not been applied. They accept correlations and don't know what a correlation is, but it sounds convincing enough. Then are influenced by rich prestigious powerful people on the news or on TV, but at no time think to ask who these people represent and why they say the things they say. The buffoon millionaire Boris Johnson he says things which are funny and outlandish, he's an odd one out but what he says because it is taking the mickey out of someone else because it is said in such a jovial way is listened to, until of course his opinion leads the to the even longer sentencing of a British National held abroad by a radical government. Boris is a man with as much tact as a bover boot, he doesn't think and just says it, he should never in a million years been allowed to have been given the mantle of foreign secretary. A slip of the tongue and an inability to be diplomatic when diplomacy is the currency of life has pushed the UK backwards into the laughing stock of international politics. When historically the UK has been the most highly oiled diplomatic machine in the world. How can a working class man vote Tory and not see this, and not know and understand the media is and always will be tainted by a bias and has to be fact checked on everything, has to be questioned. Even the BBC, the aunty of the national should be evaluated on what it says, especially when it tells you in the Local elections it has been a disaster for the Labour party when in fact the Labour party had done pretty well. Something is a miss, something doesn't add up.

The only way a Tory party machine can win elections is if it lies and it convinces working and poverty stricken voters they should vote Tory. Keep the voters in ignorance, spin a few false facts, make the Labour party appear to be spend thrifts who want nothing but to make hard workers pay more and for business to take the brunt of Taxation and more Taxation paying for everything. Yet under this Tory government there can be seen no success story for business, they haven't grown and prospered and with the result of BREXIT this country is about to lose the biggest trading partner it has. The result means even less business, fewer jobs and more poverty. The worst is yet to come, it is not here yet. I voted BREXIT because I was fed up of paying more money into the EU than the country was getting out of it. I was under the niave conclusion such a club should be neutral, but it isn't and it seeks to lift up the poorest EU countries by just giving them subsidy after subsidy. The gravy train of subsidy doesn't work, yes we have just shot ourself in the head in what is no more than economic suicide. As 27 other countries go to war against us for having the temerity to decide not to be in their club. The vote was also on two other factors, immigration in the UK which has become higher under this Tory government than any other government, hitting an all time monthly high of 333,000 net migration at one point and lastly as a vote against a toffed up millionaire arrogant bastard called David Cameron, who has had so many oporunities in his life has no idea of what it is like to want breakfast cereal in the morning only to find there was, not only no milk but no cereal either.  The Tories by definition have never known what it is like to be deprived of food and to just about get by. But they will talk the talk and walk the walk as if they are here for the working classes, as if they are here for the just about managing,

They aren't they never will be and once working class man you understand this then you will no longer be a traitor to your own kind, your life will get better standard of living improve and you'll never boast again how you voted against your fathers.

Rudd is off, Javid is in and May lingers like a fart in a very small lift

At last the fiasco which could be called the Windrush incident has been partly solved. Rudd has walked the plank and about bloody time to because the Tory galleon looks like it is about to go down of it's own accord. There really wasn't much of a choice for Rudd because thought it could be left for the weekend she was going to make an announcement on the Monday. But had no idea how the weekend's many political programs and broadsheets would be feasting on her gaff. To say there were no immigration targets during a select committee and then to be confronted with the immediate retort she'd got it wrong. Ever since the moment Cooper had her on the ropes and Rudd realised she was not able to defend herself it was all downhill. A minister can not just sit down and bumble their way through a select committee or an interview lying through their back teeth. Not when the rest of the country knows. This was blatant in your face dishonourable behaviour. Without doubt, she was helped to go by a phone call from no 10.

I can guess how the conversation went now. There is May saying to Rudd, 'hi, Amber, you've done a good job keeping the knives from my back and shielding me from the bullets of truth but I'm afraid you have got to go. No don't cry over it, and yes I know it was only my own policies I asked you to implement but you just didn't expend yourself effectively and with the same deliberate calculating cardboard characteristics I have. So get your resignation in before Monday I'm putting Javid in. Yes, we all know he's even more incompetent, but he's got a different face. Yes, one much closer to black than yours, and when he fucks up he'll be out to."

Yes, this was the conversation which took place sometime on Sunday. May now is sitting down this evening with a cup of artificially sweetened coco and congratulating she has another day in parliament. However, the end is not over yet, it's time no confidence took place, this bunch of rich arrogant Tories needs to go full stop. Let them dissipate into the ether of purification they have let fester over the entire country.

MP Heather Wheeler Minster for Homelessness

Where does the Tory party get their MPs from? I can't help wonder once they have lifted one rock and retrieved something reviled from the depths of hell they are able to find yet another very dislikeable individual. In this case I refer to none other than a Minister who is unable to give any kind of explanation of what the reasons are for the portfolio they are in charge of. Heather Wheeler is to be the zsar of homelessness, who has said by the year 2022 she would of halved rough sleeping and by 2027 erased it altogether. If ministers could be used for inflating hot air balloons we'd all be getting a great view of this country from 2 miles up.

So why is it this woman could not give a reason for homelessness? And especially when given a prompt of whether homelessness was linked to changes in welfare benefits she completely denied it. How can someone who represents South Derbyshire and has been an MP since 2010 have no viewpoint? Of all people a Minister though just a lousy third tier one should be able to give some reasoning. But her blandness is marked by her love of power and non-commital answer. For more on this see the Guardian article of Sunday 18th March 2018. Her answer beggars belief, how the hell can this person be in government and how the hell can she even be allowed any kind of ministerial responsibility. Her voting record is also of mild interest.

It seems Mrs Wheeler is one of these full right wing Tories, the kind who has voted against marriage of homosexual or lesbian persons, she doesn't believe in equality or human rights, has never voted for any investigations into Iraq but has voted for British personnel to go into conflict zones and fight. She was a rebel Tory who raised her head above the parapet to vote Britian out of the EU, She doesn't think people on welfare benefits should get any kind of increase in their benefits when ill or disabled, and voted for reductions in welfare spending whenever she could. She wants VAT to increase, but is perfectly fine with reducing tax levels for those earning over £150k per year and unsurprising has always voted to restrict trade unions. She voted to increase the tutition fee of students to £9k and to stop all financial support for 16 to 19 year olds. On green issues she has always voted to sell off our publicly owned forrests to private ownership, voted to stop anti-climate change campaigns, which makes sense in light of her voting to allow fracking. I wonder if there is any chance of fracking in South Derbyshire? She has voted for increases in public transport charges and the selling of public transport systems to private contractors. As you can see a very typical Tory of the kind which only likes those of the same Tory ilk. Though I don't quite understand how South Derbyshire could tolerate someone with these views and vote her in, for she doesn't share the same view of most of her constituents.

Mrs Wheeler has never needed the help of social housing so has been prvileged. She's not had children and doesn't know the responsibilities of feeding a family when you're on the breadline and just about managing to cope, or even not managing at all. She thinks she represents the people of her constituency because in Derbyshire they talk straight, yet her straight talking is way off course. People of South Derbyshire does this MP represent you? I'd doubt anyone could think she does for the only one she represents is herself. Don't let her in again, do the research see for yourself.

Shipley West Yorkshire - are you proud of Philip Davies your MP?

It is odd how certain places in acquire a stereo type image. Anyone would think Yorkshire of all places would be a friendly down to earth left leaning place. A place where being neighbourly and looking after each other was a norm. Yet somehow Shipley has elected in a Tory MP. Well, it is their privilege to elect whomever they want, however Philip Davies has got a bit of a name for himself. He's the one who likes to prevent as many private members bills single handedly. No matter what they were for. An example would be fellow Tory Nusrat Ghani, who tried to stop the use of the term 'honour killing' for simply it is a misnomer, there is no such thing in it and it should be called out for what it is, murder. The use of the word honour bestows an aura of justification not criminality or evil doing, there can never be any honour in killing. Even though we all think about it at times to our relates the vast majority don't do it. Then there was the occasion when Davies talked and talked and talked, by doing so he filibustered Caroline Lucas's bill in which she wanted to make sex and relationship education mandatory for kids. In fact you'd of thought such a bill to be quite reasoned, Davies didn't think so. He did the same to prevent the Istanbul Convention from ratification. This set a high bar for which violence against women should be dealt with. In a bill to allow free hospital parking for carers he did it again and in another bill to ensure landlords made their properties fit for human habitation he again gassed long enough to kill the bill. In fact it looks like Davies is the original Kill Bill.

So why Shipley, why, have you allowed this man to continue as your MP? People of Shipley is this who you really want to represent you, because it really does look like here is a man who represents himself very well. Do the people of Shipley also think and speak and feel the same way as Philip Davies? Because it is hard to believe they can for this behaviour is pretty low. To take this further there is now a video of a very distraught Luisa Omielan who tried to interview Davies, in a brief and upsetting interview she tried to understand why it was the NHS was suffering from cuts to it's services. Luisa had witnessed her own mother die in a NHs hospital and she was seeking to understand Philip Davies position on the matter. But it didn't end up as one rational person talking to another. Philip Davies shouted, accused and blocked Luisa from leaving with her camera recording of
events that had taken place. It can only be because Davis had shown his underbelly, not only is it yellow and cowardly it was the belly of a bully a man who tells doesn't listen and certainly is not worthy of the post of being an MP. A man who represents Shipley and you have to ask should this man have any power at all in the corridors of Parliament, for it seems there is more compassion in a sewer worker than this individual.

Now Luisa Omielan is a comedian by profession and she's not a hard wing left sympathiser, she does care about the NHS and her experience of it was on a personal level, an intimate level. In witnessing the decline and death of her mother. This is a person who had something to say and her voice should of been heard. Perhaps she should of asked to speak to Jeremy Hunt instead, but then surely any Tory MP should be able to show compassion to another individual and hear what they say. Followed by giving their astute political opinion on the issue raised. In this instance her interview with Philip Davies was scheduled and set in his diary so he had time to consider an answer. The interview wasn't about him being accosted out of the blue by a member of the public it was about him accounting for himself in what is a reasonable request. He didn't rise to it as a gentleman and certainly not as an honourable MP.

People of Shipley, seriously, is this who should continue to represent you?

Rampant Gentrification and lives of the ungentrified

Gentrification is a swear word, it goes side by side with rich toffee nosed people, people who've grown up with advantages throughout their entire life. Who had mothers and fathers in middle class or upper class jobs, they went into London to work or had their own business ran from the attic of the house. The underlying advantage to everything they have is money and the ability to use it to continue their advantage. Get decent baby sitters, take the kids to good schools because they bought a house in an area which was in the right catchment. Then they'll diligently discuss things with their children, find the time to play with them, ship them out to other well-to-do relatives during the holidays, perhaps even in another country where the kids can get some sun and learn the beginnings of another language in the place it should be learnt and not a class room. Whereas the working and lower classes fester continuously like overgrown rat populations, their poverty and neglect results in spite and biting off each others tails. Their insularness so short-sighted anyone who is different from them is looked on with suspicion. They are not given opportunities, their classes are full to the brim with kids to the point teachers are unable to teach. They are nothing but glorified baby sitting rooms where kids scream and shout for attention because they don't get it at home and in so doing prevent their peers from learning, they laugh when they can but they also learn to hate, to bully to create circles of social pressure as they try to find out who they are and what their life is all about. Guidance isn't even a blind man with a walking stick. For these kids are blind and can only feed of the knowledge of their own families mums, dads, uncles and aunts who have been raised in the same situations. No doubt some fall into a bad lot, some will have mental disorders their entire life, some will commit suicide some will be on the streets begging and the odd one may become a millionaire, because statistically given the numbers there will be successes. Just like populations and infectious diseases an exception will be immune.

Government policies create gentrification, policies which must have life times, policies which are like stones being dropped in a pond, the ripple and change the surface. They have a life time and then they die away. The problem is whether they have a long lingering death or not. The greatest and best policy ever was to create a welfare state in which financial and health care prevented the extremes of poverty and early death but even now under the current government of Teresa May this is being attacked and bitten away as the privatisation of the NHS is like piranah fish snapping and tearing away at a pork chop thrown into their water. The likes of Richard Branson who had managed to appear as a fun-loving entrepreneur are much more apparent as a vicious businessman out for himself, out to ensure he makes profit and to hell with the people. He is not a philanthropist he is a leech and the instance of Virgin East coast reneaging on their contract by successfully withdrawing without financial penalty because a Tory government decides to let them off the hook to the tune of hundreds of not billions of pounds. Money which came out of the pockets of tax payers, of workers, the workers who don't have tax dodging ways and find day to day subsistence difficult. The workers who may have to take a loan from a bank just to live. To get by and then repay with interest, the interest of which is plentiful as it goes into the pockets of the wealthy who in turn insure their losses via multiple financial instrutments as much as they disguise their profits. The workers support the toffee nosed pricks who see us as shit on their shoes, we are indentured servants to their needs.

Gentrification is a nasty word, for it now hits south east London and I see everyone getting in on the act. Compulsory purchase orders go up just down the road from me. Shops and houses being bought up so they can then be knocked down and better richer buildings put in their place. Buildings only well-to-do city types can buy or rent. Just so they can hop on the train and be in central London within 30 minutes. The working types can live on the streets or they can go and live in the outskirts of London they are not wanted here anymore. Fuck them. Those families lucky enough to buy their own house see the value increase with an incline greater than a ski jump. They raise their children and then find their children will never be able to afford a house near their own parents they will become a fractured family a diaspora with hundreds of miles between them. The kids will grow up remembering where they lived and realise how lucky they were to have been raised so close to London but also realise how unlucky they are not to live there again. Unless they can jump the social housing ladder, become vulnerable in some way, get pregnant be homeless and then compulsory housed by the local authority. But don't worry because if by some chance they make it good and do start to earn some real money. Their rented social accommodation will be taken away from them because the government have ensured future social housing tenancies are not tenancies for life, they will be tied into how well off the family unit is. Then they'll be shipped off to the outskirts of Mongolia, there they'll eventually lose their decent job because the costs of travel will be too much. But the best part of all they'll not live in London again and the rich would of taught the poor another lesson, don't have aspirations and think you can live toe to toe with us because you are scum and always will be. So goes the song of gentrification.

A life on benefits is not a life

After leaving school I spent a year on unemployment benefits, a year nearly to the day before getting a job. Getting the job was wonderful. I had self-esteem again and felt a hell of a lot better about myself, I had value to the world. However, there was difficulty making ends meet because it was less than minimum pay.

I've also seen members of my own family live their lives on state benefits. There wasn't a role model to follow for us, there wasn't an understanding of how the world worked. They were capable and able to work, but didn't want to, they became institutionalized into the benefits system. I like to think some of this is because there has never been enough support to help unemployed and unconfident individuals back into work. There was no careers advice or a gentle guiding hand from the state, there was no encouragement or a discussion of options, but money was taken from the state to get by. Once I left school I was on my own and it was down to me to learn what the big bad world was really like. It was tough and I know living of benefits is not a life.

As the years have passed the benefits system now has changed.   Too many people were in the situation of living their life endlessly and screwing the system, not contributing into it and just constantly taking out. Not paying taxes, not being part of society, living on subsistence levels, being ignorant and accepting they will continue in poverty for the rest of their life. The welfare state system was meant as a temporary safety net, not as a permanent solution and the constant strain now sees the UK in the place it is today. Those who are elderly, too young or sick either mentally or physically have reason to be on benefits, those who are able and capable should be working and in tandem to this there should be a universal career guidance and education system so career change is an option not an exception. After all it is pretty boring doing the same thing over and over again. The value of generalising and adapting knowledge has never been overtly imbred and accepted by successive governments. It's a shame for had it, this country would be a better place.

Employers are equally to blame. They do not train staff, do not have adult educational systems in place and expect employees to be job ready and productive from day one. Those potential employees who could run businesses and have the smarts but don't have the qualifications or the encouragement are passed on by. Whilst the arrogant, pompous likes of employees who went to private schools and education have continuous doors open to them, even if it is just in their ability to hold a conversation. Yet as with governments, such individuals are proven to do the walk but not actually fit do the job when they are in place. Further this can be witnessed in any workplace, it doesn't take much of a cursory glance to find dead wood or incompetent wood which has decayed inside out and is just waiting for the retirement clock to tick by.

It's not just about opportunities, but opportunities are right up there with qualifications, verbal literacy, self-confidence, both capability and ability. It's about living a life and a life on the dole is not a life for anyone.
